INTRO
'Hello, yes. What? Do you need a full development cycle of a taxi callservice? Haha, yes, sure. What? Oh, weren't you kidding? No, no, of course I'm in.' Who dares, wins, doesn’t he, dear reader?
I decided to take a risk and tried my luck in developing an application for calling a taxi — an app that would differ from all other similar services by having a little extra feature, but first things first.
PRODUCT

The task was to create a convenient application for ordering a taxi with an additional feature that competitors do not have — according to the concept, the user could save the drivers he liked in the application so that later use their services.

It was assumed that girls would not be the main, but a large part of the user base. Along the way, I had the opportunity to eliminate the UX flaws that our potential competitors had and reduce the number of taps to order a taxi to a minimum.

At least at the time of creation of application screens.
PRODUCT

The app was simple enough — there was nothing beyond the simple concept of making payments quickly or finding an ATM. It was possible to request or to make payments both through the generated QR code and using an ordinary IBAN.

There were also presets for fast telephone payments. The application was supposed to coexist separately from the main mobile application of the bank with a full set of functions.

NAMING
Oh, that was the tricky part. No, you go and come up with a competitive name for a cab, keep it simple, catchy, and still have the domain zone belonging to a country that has an internet. However, I succeeded, at least as far as it was possible. The word is a combination of two words 'Cab' and 'Choose'. The double O at the end is known to give +5 to a startup's luck.
BRANDING
The shape of the logo has a stylized simplified C shape, the inner circles and tonal range are a reference to the sonar looking for drivers. Pacman is also here, but this happened by accident. The typeface in the text part of the logo is Museo Sans.

A brand book was also developed, which included a lot of interesting things, including liveries for different classes of cars, uniforms for drivers, ads, prints, etc.

APPLICATION
The launch was supposed to be simultaneously on two platforms. The differences between Android and iOS applications were minimal and were limited by platform specifics.

CONCLUSION

At a certain point, the customer realized that creating his own taxi service is inexpensive, but winning the information warfare with such giants as Uber and others is, to put it mildly, expensive. Well, of course, there were also questions about the concept, but that's another story.

Therefore, it was decided to stop the project. Luckily for me, at this point all the screens for the first build were finished, and I took from this story all the experience that was there. What? It's not every day you are in luck to be paid for making a taxi service from scratch.
